Website privacy notice

This notice covers the Eosten websites (eosten.com, including our product pages). It doesn't cover data you process with our products in your own installation; that stays under your control and is governed by your agreement with us.

What we collect

  • When you use a contact form: your name, work email, and anything you choose to add (organisation, phone, team size, where you'd run our products, your topics and your message), plus the page you sent it from.
  • When you visit any page: like every website, our servers see your IP address and the page you asked for. We use it to deliver the page, to stop abuse of the forms (rate limits) and to keep the service secure. We don't build profiles from it.
  • Your colour theme (light or dark), if you choose one, is saved in your own browser and never sent to us.

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't sell or rent your information.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and follow up on it, which is why you sent it, and to keep the websites working and secure. We use your contact details only for the enquiry you made.

Who else handles it

  • Hosting and network: our servers and Cloudflare, which delivers eosten.com and protects it from attacks.
  • Email: a form message is delivered to our team's inbox through our email provider.
  • Fonts: pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when you open a page.
  • Product videos: a video from YouTube loads only after you press play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and delete them when they're no longer needed or when you ask us to. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and then removed.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and raise a grievance about how we handled it. Send your request through the contact form and say it's a privacy request.

Aadhaar masking trials

We don't accept Aadhaar images through these websites. Trials of Eosten Aadhaar Masking are arranged with our sales team, and how a trial runs and how its sample documents are handled are agreed with you before any document is used.

If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
